This 144cm wide, 280 gsm cotton 8 wale corduroy fabric hue is perfect for jacketing and tunics, dresses or bags! This is a beautifully soft fabric, you’ve got to feel it to believe it.
The 8 wale refers to the number of cords or raised rows of velvet per inch, making this a heavy weight corduroy fabric. As such, it’s perfect for garments that need a little extra structure and hold. Pre-wash this fabric before you sew so that it shrinks to fit and doesn’t bleed in the wash.
