How to care spandex silk fabric?

It is recommended not to machine wash, but hand wash preferably. Machine wash is prone to damage the fabric, while gentle hand wash can effectively protect the fabric.

Washing powder, soap and those alkaline detergents will put pressures on pure silk fabric and then damage the fabric texture, while the washing liquid is slightly better. Body shampoo is a very nice choice because it is very mild.

Please turn over and wash it. This can reduce the occurrence of discoloration. Add a few drops of white vinegar to the water to keep the spandex silk fabric in good luster. Do not vigorously squeeze it dry instead you can shake off the water by hand.

Anti-ultraviolet. Tryptophan and tyrosine in silk protein can absorb ultraviolet light, so silk has good resistance to ultraviolet light. Ultraviolet radiation is very harmful to human skin. Of course, when silk absorbs ultraviolet light, it undergoes chemical changes. Therefore, under the sun’s irradiation, silk easily turns yellow.
